Job Title: Service Writer/Advisor
Hiring Level: Intermediate - Advanced
Employee Type: Full Time - Hourly plus Commission, Benefits
Working Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 8:00am to 5:30pm

Looking for motivated, hard working individual to work in a fast paced shop environment. The Service Writer/Advisor will be responsible for the efficient and accurate flow of all clerical functions in the Service Department. This position will also be responsible for assisting and greeting and customers, interviewing customers for service needs, answering phones, coordinating with other departments in the dealership and assisting the Service Manager as needed in a shop environment. The most important characteristic of the Service Writer position is having a great attitude towards the work involved, our customers and fellow employees. Summary of Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year as a Service Writer/Advisor in an RV dealership with flat rate experience.
  • RV Technical and troubleshooting experience, RVIA/RVDA Technician certification preferred.
  • Excellent typing and computer skills, e-mail, MS Office and accounting/dealership software experience.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and problem solving skills.
  • Be able to work in a team environment and interact effectively with other depts. and staff.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively work well under pressure.
  • Excellent grasp of the English language and good spelling abilities.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Successful applicant will be required to pass a drug test and background check.

  • Qualifications and Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and route calls as required.
  • Discuss service and repair related issues with customers.
  • Greet walk-in customers.
  • Process and submit all service and repair orders in a timely manner and ensure complete accuracy.
  • Assist with service scheduling.
  • Coordinate PDI's and unit deliveries with Sales Dept.
  • Post service follow-up with customers.
  • Coordinate with Parts Dept. ensuring parts are ordered and available for customer unit repairs.
  • Successfully achieve RVIA/RVDA Service Advisor certification within 1 year, company paid.

    Looking for a motivated self starter with a great attitude to join our team with outstanding customer service and mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and LP gas systems experience. The Service Technician will be responsible for the safe and proper service and repair of new and used recreational vehicles including towables and motorhomes. The most important characteristics of the Service Technician position is having skills required to perform work safely, correctly and efficiently and having a great attitude towards the work involved, our customers and fellow employees.

    Summary of Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year RV Service Technician experience at the dealer level, RVIA/RVDA Certification preferred.
  • Dedication to customer service excellence with a proven track record.

  • RV repair, maintenance, inspection, preparation and troubleshooting on new and used fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, pickup campers, tent campers, utility trailers and motorhomes. " Install RV appliances and accessories.
  • Customer orientations, tow vehicle hookup and demonstration.
  • Tow vehicle preparation including hitch installation, trailer light wiring and brake controller installation.
  • Proper repair order documentation and processing.
  • Must achieve RVIA/RVDA Technician certification within one year if not currently certified.

    Looking for a motivated self starter with a great attitude to join our team. Prefer skills required to perform work safely, correctly and efficiently. Must possess a great attitude towards the work involved, our customers and fellow employees.

    Summary of Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months forklift operation experience.
  • Excellent cleanliness and organization skills.
  • Honesty and integrity.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and problem solving skills.
  • Be able to work in a team environment and interact effectively with other depts. and staff.
  • Able to work outside year round, sometimes in adverse weather conditions.
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, shovel, sweep and lift in excess of 75lbs without any special accommodations.
  • Safely operate lot maintenance and cleaning equipment.
  • Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment to clean and detail RV's.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Successful applicant will be required to pass a drug test and background check.

  • Qualifications and Responsibilities
  • Manage detail and lot maintenance personnel
  • Safely move and park 5th wheels, travel trailers, motorhomes, tent trailers, pickup campers cars and trucks with forklift and other equipment.
  • Manage and perform lot, grounds and building maintenance and cleanup.
  • Neatly organize and arrange major unit inventory on Sales lots.
  • Clean and detail major unit inventory.
  • Must attain OSHA Forklift Operator certification within 30 days.
